GaribaldiTour9 – I Liguriani
Piazza Garibaldi hosts GaribaldiTour9 with I Liguriani. The concert continues the musical journey dedicated to Garibaldi and the places connected with his story. For the 2026 edition, the journey turns to Liguria and Genoa, the city linked to the departure of the Thousand for Sicily.
I Liguriani bring traditional music, voices and instruments from Liguria to the stage. It is a way to follow Garibaldi through the places where the Expedition of the Thousand began to take shape.
During the concert, the History Hour also introduces Generazione G, the graphic novel that tells the story of the Risorgimento through the lives of young people who lived at the time of Garibaldi. Illustrator Marco Tabilio presents the project and shows, through video, how the pages were created.
📆 19 July 2026 – 9.30 am
Bezzecca Obbedisco
Piazza Garibaldi and Colle Santo Stefano host the official commemorative event of Bezzecca Obbedisco. The morning begins with the gathering and the greetings from the authorities in Piazza Garibaldi. The procession then moves up to the hill, accompanied by the music of the Fanfara, with the laying of wreaths and Holy Mass.
Afterwards, in the church on Colle Santo Stefano, the exhibition “Generazione G. 1848–1866” opens, with the pages of Marco Tabilio’s graphic novel dedicated to the events of the Risorgimento.
The project is based on diaries and historical testimonies from the time. It tells the lives of young people who grew up in Garibaldi’s era, in a territory marked by borders, wars and political change. Their stories bring the history of Italian unification closer to everyday life and show how Italy also took shape through the choices and hopes of a generation.

Fermi in trincea – Frequenze forti and Notte in Trincea
“Frequenze forti. 1918/2026 memorie di vita” brings an immersive night-time musical performance by Miscele d’Aria Factory to Colle Santo Stefano.
With its music, Miscele d’Aria Factory leads you through the trenches and spaces of the hill. Through wireless headphones, you listen to music, words and voices that cross more than a century.
The story begins in 1918 and reaches the present day by following the thread of communication: from the telegraph to radio, from television to smartphones. It is a journey through wars, reconstruction and moments that shaped the twentieth century.
During the night, some historical re-enactors stay in the trenches and sleep on the hill, recalling the presence of those who once lived in these places.

Fermi in Trincea – Living History
“Fermi in trincea” brings a historical re-enactment dedicated to the First World War in the Ledro Valley to Colle Santo Stefano.
Thanks to the Historical Re-enactors Association of the Ledro Valley, the trenches, walkways and tunnels of the hill come to life with reconstructed stations, tents, uniforms and objects from life at the front. It is a way to discover a past that has not remained only in books, but can still be found in the places of the territory.
The events are held in Italian, but with a strong visual and immersive component that makes the experience accessible for international visitors too.
