Programme for Saturday July 4 2026
CircoXperience
CircoXperience
The festival is enriched by Jocalo, an exhibition and workshop series designed by students from the Liceo Scientifico della Scuola Ladina di Fassa, in collaboration with students from the Liceo Ulisse Dini in Pisa and the Circensema juggling troupe. The project, dedicated to the physics of circus arts, guides the public in discovering the scientific principles behind juggling and contemporary circus through interactive exhibits, games, and experiments for all ages.
A creative and engaging experience dedicated to discovering the circus arts through the use of balls, clubs, handkerchiefs, diabolos, flower sticks, and Chinese plates. The workshop guides participants in exploring movement, coordination, and physical expression, alternating between play, experimentation, and technical learning. After an initial phase of getting to know the equipment, everyone will have the chance to test their skills and create simple juggling sequences.
Through balls and mirrors, we’ll discover how the brain constructs what we see. Through juggling and small experiments, we’ll explore proprioception, mirror neurons, and visual illusions. Because sometimes what we see isn’t quite reality!
The world never stands still: it’s a giant circus tent where science never stops performing. Your mission will be to document the evidence of this invisible show.
An interactive experience where illusion serves as the starting point for discovering the real mechanisms that govern what we see, touch, and perceive, blending science and mystery.
…or is it really magic?
A unicycle performance that explores the fine line between balance and loss, between mastery of the body and the inevitability of error. Through suspended movements, sudden accelerations, and deliberate instability, the performance plays with risk and the limits of human capability. Viewing balance not as a stable state, but as a continuous, precarious, and deeply human process.
Amidst cables, sockets, clamps, and jacks, a contemporary clown transforms electrical impulses into whimsy and play. With just a few props and plenty of imagination, he creates a vibrant connection between the audience and the music, between theater and circus.
A contemporary circus performance that combines clowning, juggling, and acrobatics in a surreal and poetic intergalactic journey. Amid weightlessness, unexpected twists, and comical situations, a cosmonaut’s routine becomes an opportunity to explore dreams, fears, and loneliness.
Because everything spins: from our bodies to the galaxies.
A poetic and physical performance for all ages, featuring two artists and twenty pallets. Through balance, manipulation, and spectacular falls, Cédric Gagneur and Marc Oosterhoff transform everyday objects into the protagonists of an ironic and surprising theatrical game. Blending dance, contemporary circus, and comedy, Palette(s) celebrates the unexpected and fragility with energy and lightness.
A festival for every taste: discover a mix of delicious, high-quality offerings to suit every palate.
A space where you can browse magazines, take a moment to relax, and discover content, resources, and stories from the world of juggling and the circus.
