In the words of the authors:

“Melody of the Ice” is a long-term project that tells the story of the melting of the Làres glacier, located in Trentino, in the Adamello mountain range: it narrates the transformation of a world. This preview, on the occasion of the exhibition at MUSE Agora, is the first chapter of this story: a summer on the glacier, condensed into a few minutes. A form of meditation, rather than contemplation; perhaps, an elaboration of grief. Or a tribute to the beauty of what is already gone. All the images you see and all the sounds you hear come from there.
The installation is a short film about the visibility of time and the transience of this ancient world. The melting ice is water that snowed in thousands of years ago: fossil water disappearing at a dizzying pace. And the air of a distant past inadvertently dissolves into that of the present”.
