The protected area around Lake Ampola is one of the richest and most delicate natural habitats in the Ledro Valley. Among reed beds, water lilies and a wealth of plant and animal life, slowing down is all it takes to discover just how much life surrounds the lake.
A boardwalk winds through the vegetation and leads to the visitor centre, where you can learn more about the area’s flora and fauna. Outside, the trail continues among rustling sounds, animal calls and signs of life waiting to be spotted.
