We investigate the being and becoming of the landscape over time, with focus on the evolving relationship between humanity and the environment.
What We Do
The projects that characterise this field of research include analysis of the structural (geological) component of the landscape, study of the relationship between the environment and prehistoric and historical human communities, the effects on biotic communities of anthropogenic environmental transformations, and the evolution of biocultural landscapes.
