Pile-dwelling bread

a prehistoric snack

MicrosoftTeams-image (4) (1)

The museum houses a 4,000-year-old loaf of bread, made from wholemeal spelt and without yeast.
This extraordinary exhibit kicks off a tasty activity. Grind the grains on a stone, knead the flour and bake your own bread.
It’s snack time!

The activity is mainly held in Italian, but our guides will gladly help you and your children join in, with a little help in English.
