How often do you reach for your smartphone in a day? You take it everywhere with you, constantly look at it, and panic when you can’t find it. Smartphones are the personal gateway to infinite worlds, connecting, informing, entertaining and guiding us.
But what happens when we use it this much? How do our bodies, minds and relationships change?
The new MUSE Agora project is an invitation to explore this. It is a journey to observe how smartphones are transforming the way we live, feel and interact with each other, and to explore the consequences for our individual and collective well-being. Digital technologies are constantly and rapidly evolving, creating opportunities but also new vulnerabilities.
This exhibition provides a neutral space for open discussion, shedding light on the mechanisms, experiences, and potential for making informed choices regarding the use of mobile devices and social networks.
