Challenge 15: Sensing water quality: a one health perspective

Project summary: Waterbodies (working title) is a residency and research project leading to a poetic technologic experience into the river flow state and health, populated by citizen science data points from river walks. The hybrid activation will enable participants to feel the different water states through real-life observation, water testing and generative sound to be explored during the walks.
Waterbodies want to raise awareness and sensory understanding of the river as a living body, and its right to flow. Communities will be actively contributing to the immersive map and digital dream as part of arranged citizen science walks, through water measurements, observation and sonic capture.
The artwork deployment and community participation during the residency will contribute in creative a collective sense of stewardship for the region by connecting dedicated groups in various locations of the river (upstream and downstream).
