Summer School EMME 2015 open for registration until July 31

7/20/2015
From September 5 to September 10, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Planetarium Science Center (Alexandria, Egypt) will host the EMME 2015 - the Euro-Mediterranean and Middle East Summer School for Science Communication - a Training Program for Science Center Leaders that is a fruitful collaboration between the North Africa and Middle East Science centers network (NAMES) and the European Network of Science Centers and Museums (Ecsite).

Future leaders in science centers or any other organization working for public engagement in science should have the competencies to run such organizations, looking at the impact on the local communities, taking into consideration the framework of public policies, and in collaboration with private and public stakeholders. With the goal of reinforcing capacities, strengthening dialogue and exchange, and increasing the community of players in the region, EMME aims to give professional skills and expertise for the management of science centers and museums and related activities through lectures and theoretical content, practical workshops, case studies and visits.

The final deadline for registration is the 31st of July: http://www.bibalex.org/EMME2015/Registration/RegLogin.aspx
