Post-doc researcher in Prehistory (PhD. 2012, University of Ferrara), my main researching field concerns the dynamics of settlement and the hunting strategies of laterglacial human groups.
I use the lithic technology as the first tool of analysis, applying the concepts of “chaîne opératoire”  to recognize cases of behavioral variation.
My current research concerns the hunters who frequented the Italian eastern Alps during the recent Dryas (Project YDESA), investigating in particular the techno-economic transformations, typical of this stage.
I also participate in projects related to the extinction of the Neanderthal man and the transition between Middle and Upper Paleolithic, in collaboration with the University of Ferrara and other foreign institutions (Cave of Fumane-VR, Cave of Rio Secco-PN).
