The atmosphere was electric at
the MUSE opening: at 6pm on 27 July, a 24 hour marathon of events was
initiated, Trento among the great cultural cities of Europe. It was an
unforgettable moment for all those who witnessed it. On a hot July evening, the
ribbon-cutting ceremony was accompanied by the music of the Haydn Orchestra of
Bolzano and Trento, unveiling a giant metal hourglass that symbolises the end
of Trento's “wait for the future”; which has now arrived.
Frankie Hi-nrg, Giovanni Lindo Ferretti, Orchestra
Haydn di Trento e Bolzano, Niccolò Fabi, Ascanio Celestini, Telmo Pievani,
Giulio Giorello, Patrizio Roversi, Luca Mercalli, and Renzo Piano are just some of the names who, along with more than 28,000 people, paid
tribute to the new Science Museum of Trento.
