In the gallery of MUSE “Innovating in Trentino” the most significant projects in our territory are periodically presented. They are thought and developed by research unities, foundations and business companies that operate inside various areas.
The next exhibition, promoted by MUSE and Arca Casa Legno, curated with the collaboration of Cnr-Ivalsa, will be inaugurated May 16 at 5pm. It covers research and wood enhancing activities, primarily in the field of construction.
Wood, as a construction product, has achieved the results considered nearly impossible until a few years ago. The growing sensitivity to the issues of sustainability and the need to preserve and make the best use of existing resources have led to a radical rethinking in the use of building materials. The wood has become a primary element for a way of life inspired by well-being and functionality, in harmony with nature. The new gallery of MUSE will show the characteristics of this material, offering an original view of its application in technology, energy and architecture.
Starting from the new woodland collection systems for multi-storey buildings in wood, by furnishing elements to zero impact product with an eye on construction and design: a look at 360 degrees on the wood, materia viva and in continuous transformation, as old as the world, as new as tomorrow.
