Open Wet Lab

The doors at Open Wet Lab are open to those who are eager to go hands on with biotechnology, biology and chemistry. Open Wet Lab is a lab, but also the name of an organization founded in 2013 by young biotechnologists and science enthusiasts.
Based in Trento, Open Wet Lab promotes the sharing of scientific knowledge both at the local and national level. Inside the R. Franklin lab at MUSE, visitors can meet the members of Open Wet Lab and join in to experiment with them.

Extracting DNA in 10 minutes, identifying the dye used in candies with an homemade chromatography, assembling a chemical reaction to produce a super cool toothpaste fountain. These are only some of the  experiments designed to give the visitors some quick and fun facts about science.
